Flores might be one of the most underrated places I’ve been to in Indonesia.
It’s the kind of place where you can spend one day hiking through landscapes that look completely different from anything you’ve seen before, and the next you’re on a tiny boat wondering if it’s actually going to make it back to shore. 😂
It’s not the easiest place to travel around, but that’s also what makes it so interesting.
It still feels a little rough around the edges, and you get to see a side of Indonesia that feels very different from the usual Bali itinerary.
If you’re looking for somewhere in Indonesia that feels a little more adventurous, Flores needs to be on your list.
