We begin this episode in Batemans Bay, waiting anxiously for answers about our car and hoping it’s not another setback on the road. After months inland, we finally reach the coast and see the ocean again — a moment we didn’t realise how much we needed 🌊

But just as things start to feel calm, another serious issue arises.

Our battery system wiring begins to melt and burn, creating a dangerous situation that could bring our full-time travels to a sudden stop. It’s a tough reminder that life on the road isn’t always smooth — sometimes it’s about adapting, problem-solving, and staying calm when things go wrong.

Along the way, we explore some stunning South Coast locations:

• 📍 Mystery Bay Campground
• 📍 Grassy Hill 4WD Track (WikiCamps point of interest)
• 🦭 Seals at Narooma

From bush fires too close for comfort, to stunning sunsets, and the occasional caravan fail, this trip had it all!

We visited Peach Trees National Park, Glastonbury Creek Camping Area, Casuarina Campground in Main Range NP, and finished at Castle Rock Campground in Girraween National Park, hiking to catch amazing views at sunset.
