Our favourite island getaway. 🏝️🚙

Since having a toddler, Moreton Island has become our go-to. We personally find it a little more relaxed and family-friendly than K'gari, while still offering amazing camping, 4WDing, and beautiful beaches.

Which would you choose—Moreton Island or Fraser?

Standing here, you'd never guess how vulnerable we felt.

This was one of the most isolated roads we've ever driven through the Simpson Desert. For hours, there was nothing but endless dunes, silence, and the track ahead. No towns. No phone reception. No guarantee that help would come quickly if something went wrong.

It was a little scary... but it also reminded us how capable we can become when we step outside our comfort zone.

These are the moments that make us appreciate family, preparation, and the privilege of exploring this incredible country together.

Sometimes the best memories come from the places that make your heart beat a little faster.
