What I don’t negotiate anymore?

Our mental health……which for us looks like this; prioritising things that bring us joy- because life is too fu***ng short! 

And to be perfectly honest… I’m not even convinced it’s fully working because we’re still a little wacky, slightly frazzled and extremely burnt out over here 😂

But we’re trying

Somewhere along the way we realised something

Life is already full on
If we don’t intentionally put good things on the calendar, the hard stuff just fills every gap

So now we prioritise what we enjoy

Family holidays
Caravan trips
Concerts
Time alone
Time together
Time that feels like us

It’s not irresponsible
It’s survival 💕

We don’t do it because our life is calm

We do it because it isn’t

Life is too short to only be in survival mode constantly

We’re still juggling 

Still tired
Still figuring it out

But it’s a conscious decision now- even if it’s only every few months 

We take what we can get 🤷‍♀️

🎁 HAPPY 7TH BIRTHDAY BOHDI 🎁

Seven years ago today the chaos began 🫣

I almost gave birth to you in the car at the top of Toowoomba range at 42 weeks- that should've been my first hint that you would be always on your own timeline, be the most stubborn person I've ever met and that there would never be a dull moment EVER again 🤯

You are so quirky, dance to the beat of your own drum, cheeky and funny and always infuriating- don't ever change- just please let me survive your teenage years and beyond without getting locked up 💕

We love you so much monkey 🐒 🙈
