The markets will relocate to Ernie Organ Park from this weekend throughout October and November while turf restoration works are carried out at Bill Fraser Park.

Same Saturday markets, just one park over! 🛍️

📍 October & November: Ernie Organ Park (to the right of the Hervey Bay Sailing Club)
📍 From December: Back to the usual spot at Bill Fraser Park

Thanks for your patience while we give the park some TLC.

❌You do not need a GP referral or Mental Health Care Plan
❌You do not need to access ongoing counselling to use other headspace services, including Work & Study support, social groups, and GP appointments
💲Services are free for those with a Medicare Card

They’re managing the admin, inventory, scheduling, paperwork, invoices and compliance, often while also juggling everything else that comes with running a household and working in a family business.

These are the women behind many of our local construction and trade businesses.

RDA Wide Bay Burnett is exploring whether there is an opportunity to offer a free program to support women with practical training in business and leadership skills and the opportunity to connect with others doing similar work.

We’d like to hear from women who are currently doing this kind of work to help us understand whether there is an appetite for the program.
