Fraser Radio recently took delivery of two new PCs purchased through funding from the Fraser Coast Regional Councils "Smarty Grants" program. The new computers recently commissioned and now in operation, have provided a major boost to the operation of our Tourist Radio broadcast. Station Manager Ed Martin and Programing Manager Barry Barwick recently completed the commissioning works on the new PCs at the River Heads site. Our broadcast content is managed with software that compiles the Playlists and provides reporting requirements for compliance records. These records are both generated and stored on the PCs as part of our regulatory frame work.These include backup for the broadcast and streaming feeds whilst providing a multitude of other functions such as training support, administration, editing, technical compliance and various other record keeping functions. Fraser Radio can now confidently continue to provide both visitors and locals with information and entertainment thanks to this major enhancement to our equipment needs. We wish to express our sincere thanks to Fraser Coast Regional Council for the Smarty Grants Program.

The Brolga Theatre is located on the banks of the Mary River in Maryborough. Brolga offers visitors and locals a range of shows throughout the year (check the link below). Saturday Night, Fleetwood Mac Fans were treated to "Dreams" a Fleetwood Mac (Tribute Band), performing a range of Fleetwood Mac hits with exceptional performances to entertain the audience. Fans were treated to music, stories about Fleetwood Mac and great visuals!
