What's on Fraser Coast Magazine The magazine is available both online and in print. We will bring you the local musicians as well as the ones visiting our region from afar.

Founded in 2017, What’s On Fraser Coast Magazine has grown from the award-winning What’s On Hervey Bay page into the region’s go-to guide for everything happening across the Fraser Coast. As you turn the pages of our magazine, we will introduce you to exhibitions, concerts, workshops, and LIVE theatre, all you will need to do is get your ticket! Our Calendar of Events will make planning t

he month so much easier, while our Gig Guide well keep you updated on where the music is. We bring you articles about a wide range of topics, including health, business, and shopping, and introduce you to the people that make our region so unique. Our magazine has a very strong community ethic, and many of the stories and articles are written by you. Our brand has a great reputation and is trusted across the Fraser Coast. With over 58 publications to our name, we know our business. A small but dedicated team produces our publication, and that’s the way we like it. We are lucky to have some great contributors who write about everything from our history to sport and fashion; we know that you will enjoy reading the articles too. Proudly presented by Prime Agents Hervey Bay, this year’s Pink Dinner will see renowned Hervey Bay band Soul City reunite for one incredible night in support of Fraser Coast Mates and mental health in our community.

For many years, Soul City was a favourite on the local entertainment scene, and we feel incredibly privileged to have this iconic nine-piece band coming back together especially for the Pink Dinner.

Wow! Comedian Lawrence Mooney had the audience in stitches last night at the Hervey Bay RSL. No costumes, no bells and whistles just a very funny man and his words, playing many characters. Nothing else needed, a true master of comedy. ❤️🙏🤣😜

What's on Fraser Coast Magazine – Weekend events

If you're looking for something to do this weekend, plenty is happening across the Fraser Coast.

Tonight, from 4pm to 9pm, Seafront Oval is the place to be for Fraser Coast Global Beats & Eats! Entry is free, with street food, live stage performances, roving cultural acts and plenty of non-stop family fun.

Saddle up this Saturday for Tiaro Bulls & Barrels! Dust off your cowboy boots and hat and head to Tiaro, with gates opening at 3pm and the rodeo kicking off at 4pm. See more than 100 competitors, enjoy the bar and raffle, and support the Tiaro State School P&C!

Also, this Saturday, head to the Brolga Theatre in Maryborough for Crystal Focus’ ‘Twilight at The Brolga’, from 3pm to 9pm. Entry is just $5! Explore crystals, jewellery, gifts, workshops and readings, plus live music, food and fun. For details, visit magicality.com.au.

This Sunday, head to the Birthing & Babes Expo at PCYC Hervey Bay, Pialba, from 9am to 3pm! Meet more than 50 vendors, discover helpful products and services, and get expert advice. Entry is free, with gold coin donations welcomed. All proceeds support local victims of domestic violence.

A service of commemoration to mark the 60th anniversary of the Battle of Long Tan will be held at the Light Horse War Memorial in Freedom Park on Tuesday 18 August 2026.

There will also be a short march from the top of the Charles Street carpark to the War Memorial – some 100 metres, for those Vietnam Veterans who wish to participate.

All are welcome to attend the service at Freedom Park. Contact the Sub Branch on 4197 7477 if you wish to be included on the wreath layers' list.

A function will be held at the Hervey Bay RSL & Services Memorial Club afterward for members and their guest, ex-service and current serving personnel. Wristbands for the function are available from the Sub-Branch office until noon on Friday 14 August 2026.
