Hi Everyone

I’m Kelly and I am the creator behind Island View Connect Magazine

When I first set out to create the magazine it was to be a voice for smaller small businesses and help make it easier for locals, especially new residents to the area to find them

But in the last few weeks I have realised the magazine can be so much more, it has the potential to help connect people who are looking to find people they can relate to or have common interests with and again this can really help people who have recently moved to the region and are struggling to find new friends.

So here is my request, if you run or are apart of any community group include your group in the magazine at no cost.

If you know someone new to the area let them know about Island View Connect Magazine as a resource.

And here is another thing, not all businesses need to advertise and that is amazing but that is not helping the local residents struggling to find the businesses they need especially when they need you. So maybe think about including your business to help them or if your business is too busy and your turning people away, direct them to the magazine when they call or email, where they can find other businesses to help make it easier for them.

Together we can make the magazine a go to resource for all

Island View Connect Magazine is a new monthly magazine, that has been created to provide a voice to our small businesses, community groups and charities with in the Fraser Coast Region, to help connect them with the local residents who live here.

Do you have a community event coming up? You can include this at no cost in the magazine.

Do you run, or a part of a community group? You can include a article in the magazine to help locals learn about your group and also include a ad every month about your regular meet ups at no cost.

Sporting clubs and School P&Cs, Daycare Centres or Gyms, do you have a open day or community event coming up? Include it the magazine events section at no cost.

Are you currently trying raise funds for something important and want help to spread awareness? You can include an article about your cause in the magazine at no cost.

Are you looking for affordable priced advertising for your small business? I have made advertising in the magazine on a ongoing basis within your reach with a range of options available.

I am also looking for support from larger businesses with in Fraser Coast Region to sponsor the magazine and help provide the free promotion to our local community groups and charities each month.
