BSA UTAS × Department of Home Affairs - Community Engagement × TUSA 🇦🇺🇧🇩🤝

Really grateful to be part of such a meaningful meeting and to represent BSA UTAS and our student community.

It was a great opportunity to share what we have been doing, discuss the experiences and needs of international students, multicultural community engagement, student support, and how we can build stronger connections moving forward.

For me personally, seeing our team’s hard work being recognised and having the opportunity to sit together with Home Affairs and TUSA was a very proud moment. ❤️

A big thank you to everyone who made this possible, especially our BSA UTAS team for always working together behind the scenes.

Still learning, still growing, and hopefully creating more opportunities for our students and community. 🇧🇩🇦🇺🤝

BSA UTAS is excited to be Powered By partner of RBCT FEASTIVAL 2026 - a colourful day bringing together Bengali food, culture and community right here in Tasmania!

And yes… come hungry! 😋🔥

From the flavours we grew up with to the street-food favourites we all miss - expect a day full of delicious Bengali food, snacks, sweets and much more. Whether you’re craving something spicy, savoury or sweet, there’ll be plenty to explore! 🍚🌶️🥘🍢🍬☕

But FEASTIVAL is more than just food! There’ll also be cultural and market stalls, jewellery, clothing, henna art, kids’ activities, live cultural performances, music and family entertainment throughout the day. 🎶💃🏽🛍️✨
