Our team along with Tyson Blood Racing and Higgenbottom Racing are putting on this AMAZING event again this year. It was a blast last year and the kids had so much fun. We are looking for sponsors to make this as big of a success as it was last year. If you would like to donate please reach out to one of the teams or DM me. If would rather donate candy instead of cash that is perfectly OK as well. We just ask for no chocolate. Lesson learned last year. 🤣 We appreciate any and all support.
We have made an Amazon list you can shop if that is what you prefer.
Check out this Gift List I just created. https://www.amazon.com/registries/gl/guest-view/2ZULI3FGFELAK?ref_=cm_sw_r_apann_ggr-subnav-share_3YFDCZ3Q4WVAQ6VK4V2B&language=en-US

Driver Profile: Jesse Schlotfeldt

Driving the JRS Motorsports 21 from Arlington, WA is Jesse Schlotfeldt. Schlotfeldt is the next driver to be highlighted on the road to the 53rd Annual Jim R***r Memorial Super Dirt Cup, Presented by Angel Of The Winds Casino Resort.

The Arlington native has had a hot start to the 2025 race season at Skagit Speedway, picking up three top-five finishes in three features run in the 360 Sprint Car, along with one win and two top fives and three top 10s in four features raced in the 410 Sprint Car. Schlotfeldt has also picked up a 360 Sprint Car win at both Grays Harbor Raceway in Elma, WA, and Douglas County Dirt Track in Roseburg, OR.

"I think across the board, it's been a huge improvement," Schlotfeldt said. "Both cars have a lot of speed. This past weekend [Saturday, May 31] at Skagit, I felt I had one of the best cars, especially after Robbie [Price] fell out and a couple of unfortunate events prevented me from being able to actually get the results that I think the car deserved. For sure, both cars [have] been fast all year."

In last year's Dirt Cup on Saturday night, Schlotfeldt went from 13th to 10th during the A-Main, but this year, he's hoping to be a contender for the podium come Saturday night.

"I feel like this year we actually have a good chance to contend for at least the podium," Schlotfeldt said. "That's just been the mindset all year. Dirt Cup, honestly, it's a pretty early race in the year for how late Skagit starts their season. We have a whole different car this year, so we're trying to create a whole different notebook – just trying to get laps with this new package is kind of a must. I think that's why we made 410s at Skagit such a big priority, because our big early-year goal was Dirt Cup. One hundred grand for a local team is season-changing. That's career-changing. So, that's been the goal from day one since me and Hunter decided that we were going to race together. That was the first big box to check off."

Schlotfeldt has changed his shock program this year, along with running a different chassis from ###. He has also teamed up with Hunter Brady to assist with his car, a feature he lacked in previous Dirt Cups.

"I feel like the past few years [have] just kind of been difficult for me personally," Schlotfeldt said. "This year, I have Hunter as a full-time Crew Chief and pit crew member, and so having him helps me focus more on my racing and my race craft. Just keeping a clear mindset when I'm in the seat instead of constantly worrying about if I made the right adjustment here, fueling the motor, [or] did I bolt check this, I can kind of relax a little bit."

Schlotfeldt is planning to run the Fastest Five Days in Motorsports with the NARC King of the West Sprint Cars as they make their way from Southern Oregon Speedway in Central Point, OR, on June 11 and conclude at Grays Harbor Raceway in Elma, WA, on June 15.

Before the racing action kicks off for the 53rd Annual Jim R***r Memorial Super Dirt Cup, the festivities start with the Dirt Cup Kick-Off Part at the Railroad Pub and Pizza, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. where there will be live music from the Chris Eger Band, Sprint Cars, and more! Then, on Saturday, June 21, before gates open, join us at the race track for Fan Fest from 2–4 p.m., featuring drivers, merchandise, and a live pre-race show with driver interviews!

The 53rd Annual Jim R***r Memorial Super Dirt Cup, Presented by Angel of the Winds Casino Resort at Skagit Speedway, kicks off Thursday, June 19, and ends on Saturday, June 21, with a $100,026.26 payday to the winner! We hope to see you there.

If you can't make it to Skagit Speedway, make sure to catch all the racing action live on FloRacing. Also, make sure to follow us on Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and Snapchat
