30/11/2025 This weekend was a very emotional for me. It was difficult to be DJing while is drowning Sri Lanka, my home.

Due to the landslides and floods People have lost their loved ones , their homes and the country as a whole is suffering from the biggest natural disasters we’ve experienced. It’s heartbreaking to see people lose all their life work in a matter of seconds .
But such is life and I am very grateful and fortunate to live a day with basic needs met.

This is why I decided to donate all earnings from my DJ gigs in December to help rebuild Sri Lanka.

For me, the love for DJing has always been about bringing the world together with music. It was never about the money and this month, I play for Sri Lanka. It’s the least I can do for my home.

Last Saturday’s gig was a special one❤️

I went back to the place where DJ Kala’s journey took off. Roughly about a year ago, I was contacted by a client to play at a private gathering and that phone call challenged me to follow my passion and transition into a professional DJ.

Thank you everyone for yet another memorable experience. I am truly blessed to be able to do what I love.

I guess this is what living the dream means 😊💃🕺🎵

"Dream big, work hard, watch the universe align "

Last Saturday was absolutely surreal.

I had the incredible opportunity to open the dance floor at the I LOVE DANCEHALL night at Altar, and it was everything I'd ever dreamed of for my first club experience. 🤩

A massive shoutout to DJ JC who came up to me after my set. He praised my set, and then, pointing to the dance-floor, said, "You started this." Those special words will live with me forever. 🙏
