Just a reminder that cassowaries are the ultimate whole-food eaters. They swallow many large rainforest fruits whole and help spread seeds through the forest, making them some of North Queensland's most important gardeners. 🌱💚

I saw this crocodile artwork and instantly fell in love with it. ❤️🐊

As many of you know, crocodiles are a big part of the awareness work I do throughout North Queensland, so this piece immediately caught my eye.

I was fortunate to meet the artist, Lea Stevens, and it happens she used to live next door to my husbands grandmother. Knowing the artwork comes from her connection to Country and the stories passed down through her family makes it even more meaningful.

This beautiful piece now has a special place in my home, and every time I look at it, it reminds me of the waterways, wildlife and culture that make Far North Queensland such an incredible place.
