Because the system isn't just broken - it's brutal.

When we just post on FB to have our say - there is really only a one way conversation,
so I decided to start a community radio station called Broken Systems QLD!
Now that is my part of the station/podcast,
I also wanted to give our community there own voice, a place to put your event or new venture or just information sharing. In fact we want to have a very diverse amount of conversations,

We are in the midst of a housing affordability crisis. Housing prices and rents are skyrocketing, forcing more people into housing stress.

Many members of our community are being priced out of the private rental market, but there simply aren’t enough social housing dwellings to meet need.

At the Economic Reform Roundtable this week ACOSS called for the government to set targets to boost supply of social housing to 6% of homes in a decade – returning it to the share it was in the 90s – and then to 10% of homes over two decades as a step towards ensuring everyone has access to a safe and affordable home.
