We went for a baby dedication yesterday, and afterwards, we honoured the invitation of a family friend for a little get together.
There was so much to eat an take away.

PS: It's the fly season here, leave your door open for a second, and the flies will come in their numbers to say hello, especially during the hot afternoons.
For now, nothing concern Aussie with winter till June.

Omoooo, It's been a dramatic morning. The alarm was ear-piercingly loud, and my initial reaction was that the rapture had begun.

I quickly started pleading with God for mercy, but as I caught sight of my child next to me, I became convinced that it was not the end of the world 😁

If it were the rapture, my child would have been taken, at the very least.

That alarm no stop oo, until I switched on the heat extractor.
God abeg oooo

We had to go charge our stuff in our friend's house due to the power outage, as they were not affected.
They restored power 2 minutes after we got back. The outage lasted up to 7 hours.

After church service, we went out and came back home around 5pm, where we were met with total darkness. It starts getting dark from 5pm here.

A hailstorm had occurred earlier in the day. As at past 9pm, the power remains out. This is our first experience with such an extended outage.

We registered Arya for swimming lessons over a month ago, and she attends classes once a week. Initially, I observed her struggling to stay afloat and ingesting a significant amount of water
Today, I am impressed by her remarkable progress.
We will achieve our goals eventually.

The first time I saw this bag in the church toilet, I thought someone forgot it.
Then weeks after, it's still in its place, then I got curious.

I peeped into it and saw pads and somethings that look like ci******es, I guess they are tampons.
Then it occurred to me that it was delivered placed there.

It's the thoughtfulness behind this for me.
They also have a lot of diapers of different sizes in the babies changing room

We've found a home in this church.
The worshippers here are so welcoming.
The church believes in Tithing, Baptism, the Trinity, speaking in tongues... wetin again I dey find?

We started worshipping here because it's close to the house. That's not a good reason to choose a church I know.

A lot of times we've had people walk up to us after service to say hi and introduce themselves.
You also get to meet all their family members at the spot😁
And these are white people oo.

There are a lot of migrants from other countries here too.
I also see a lot young boys involved in active service here and it gladdens my heart because that is the best time to serve God.

This is the second service. It's usually not as full as the first.
That's the pastor in a blue facecap. He is a multitalented individual who is praise leader, worship leader, guitarist...these are what I've seen him do so far though.

Hubby went out with someone on a CityCat
ferry ride in Brisbane CBD, and not me watching the video from my Abule/Ime obodo part of the abroad and wondering if I'm actually in "the abroad."
