Suns out,snakes out !

We’ve past this fella a few times lately always in the same area but sunbaking in different spots, the snakes are warming up and getting a feed and not migrating yet, I think they are more of a hazard at this stage as you could accidentally walk right up to them before they move and that could land you a bite, once they are more active they tend to move pretty quick and if you don’t see the movement you should be able to hear them, any snake guys able to let us know if I’m correct or not drop a comment and I’ll pin it to the top, cheers.

What will you find today ?

Today I found out it’s not the best idea to cancel your low battery warning on your drone, a close call shortly after shooting this sunrise over the Kiewa Valley Victoria, Australia.
During this video my drone gave me a low battery warning and as per my usual I cancelled the return to home and relied on the forced return to home, now I’m not sure if an update has changed that but with only one and a bit minutes left on the battery I threw it in sport mode and manually flew home as quick as it would go, then it happened “battery low forced landing in progress” I was still 100 meters from home and over water, luckily it let me still fly towards home as it was descending and landed it at my feet with 0% battery.
A crash last week with super fast replacement using DJI care refresh 👍 and then nearly loosing it again in the water I’ll be more careful from now on 😉✌️

And the snakes are warming up in the Kiewa valley Victoria, Australia.

If you see a red-bellied black snake, stop moving, stay calm, and back away slowly to a safe distance. Give the snake plenty of space to escape, never try to touch, catch, or kill it, and keep children and pets away.

Huge amount of rain last night with one sheep and her two lambs afraid to cross the water to higher ground, they all would be fine but with more rain forecast for the day we went for a wander to encourage them over the shallow water to higher ground ✌️
