Voting has been closed and thanks to everyone who voted for Laidley Mulgowie’s senior player of the match, who is Third Grader Hayden Brady, for his 5 for 12 off 5 overs. The votes have been counted and your Laidley Mulgowie player of the round goes to Anthony Wilson for his 101 off 88 and 2 stumpings. Anthony get yourself to the Queensland National . The QN Hotel for your free beer congratulations. A massive shout out to Craig Crack and Darryl Muckert on their achievements over the weekend both super important in the context of their games. The Kennel would also like to acknowledge first grade captain Alex Welsh for his 58* and 5/29 off 9 but got a lot of points deducted for the run out of kennel favourite Nick Bischoff for a Diamond duck. We aren’t sure how Nick will recover from this.

We are on again for the player of the round for Laidley Mulgowie some outstanding efforts across all grades. You have from 1st Grade Anthony Wilson’s 101 from 88 and 2 Stumpings. 2nd Grade Craig Crack with his 4-3 from 8 and catch. So the votes are in and the winner of the first Kennel QN Voucher is the third grade skipper and most capped third grade player Matt Hogan for his 8 overs of brilliance and taking 4-33 and then digging in deep for his team with a 48 Not out off 73 balls to win the game for his side. Matt gets to go into the QN for a free drink for his efforts. Congratulations to Mick and Ben for your efforts over the weekend as well. Hope Matthew can walk again after that effort enjoy that drink.
