π 7 Things I Did That Helped Me Secure BTS Arirang Tickets (With ZERO Ticketmaster History) β¬οΈβ¬οΈβ¬οΈ
1οΈβ£ Complete Your Ticketmaster Homework Before D-Day
I pre-filled my payment details, billing address, and made sure my email and mobile number were verified.
Why? The last thing you want is to be typing your postcode while everyone else is checking out. Every second matters when ARMYs are fighting for the same seats. π
2οΈβ£ Open Your Ticketmaster Tabs the Night Before
Since I was aiming for both Melbourne and Sydney, I logged in the night before and opened separate tabs for each concert date.
Why? Less clicking, less stress, less chance of accidentally opening the wrong event while your heart rate hits BTS encore levels.
3οΈβ£ Check Your Browser Settings
I allowed pop-ups so the OTP verification and payment prompts could appear properly.
Why? Imagine finally getting tickets in your cart only to discover your browser decided to become a security guard. π
4οΈβ£ Save Your ARMY Membership Number Somewhere Easy
I kept my membership details in a notepad ready to copy and paste.
Why? Because under pressure, even remembering your own name becomes optional.
5οΈβ£ Study the Venue Map Like It's an Exam
Before ticketing day, I decided on my preferred sections and backup options.
Why? When tickets start disappearing in real time, you don't have time to conduct a seating investigation.
Plan A β Plan B β Plan C Always have backups.
6οΈβ£ Join the Waiting Room β But Don't Panic If It Doesn't Appear Immediately
My waiting room didn't show up right away. Around 30 minutes before presale, I went back to the BTS event page, selected the date again, and the waiting room appeared.
Important: Once you're in the queue, DO NOT REFRESH.
Seriously. That refresh button is not your friend.
7οΈβ£ Stay Calm When Ticketmaster Starts Acting Weird
The site became slow and unresponsive for me a few times.
What I did: I waited.
What I didn't do: Refresh. Close the tab. Panic-click 47 times.
Eventually it loaded.
Also, when selecting seats, only blue sections were available. If your chosen seat became unavailable, I simply moved to another section and kept trying.
Moral of the story: Persistence beats panic.
π I had zero Ticketmaster history. π I wasn't a ticketing expert. π I wasn't using any special tricks.
Just preparation, patience, and a small amount of ARMY-induced panic.
And somehow... I secured Melbourne Day 2 AND Sydney Day 2 for BTS Arirang. π₯°π₯°π₯°
If you're preparing for the next ticket war, I hope this helps. May your Wi-Fi be stable, your queue number be blessed, and your payment page load instantly. ππ
May the QUEUE be with you πππ
