Every once in a while a real special one comes along! A new PB for Copeton for me but also significant to catch it on a colourway that I wanted for a long time! I love pumping and changing these baits too and the killer tail is just that! It was an amazing week to watch clients catch big Murray Cod but even more special to catch this monster myself before heading back north!

The beetle junior ran a clinic on the wild Murray Cod during cod opening! Had a quick morning session landing over 20 of these guys! So fun.

This giant fish made my week! After a week of guiding on Copeton watching Tom land 18 cod I decided I needed to have one last crack myself before I make the track home! The fish progressively got less and less active with the moon phase but when you land one of this calibre it makes for an easy drive home, even on three hours sleep. This is a new Copeton PB for me and a good one to beat on the new Baitsanity Carp gill!

Nice long one from Copeton between guiding! If you look closely you can make out the head of the new Beetle! This bait has been killer.

Arrived to Inverell late yesterday, couldn’t help myself, quick three hour nap and on the water for the moon set bite window! This guy wasted no time smoking the beetle on the second cast. Lure had to be extracted for the pic, it was gooonnnnee!
