Con Filippidis has been involved in the television industry since the early 90’s where he started in regional Victorian Television at GMV6 Shepparton. In the past 16 years he has been freelancing as a cinematographer, DoP & camera operator. He has worked on numerous projects from corporate, TVC’s, TV series and many short films & independent features. As a freelancer Con has worked for many client

s within the Television & Corporate markets such as Buchanan Group, SBS, Ch 9, MWC Media, Axis Films, Clemenger and many more. In an ever changing world of new technology it has been important to keep abreast of new advancements and techniques and this can only be done by keeping an open mind to new ways of doing things. This relates to the emergence of high definition acquisition & post production including Varicam, P2, XDCAM, Canon 5D, Go Pro's & Red Epic, Arri Alexa, Black Magic Cinema Cameras… just to name a few. From low budget to high budget projects there is always the expectation to deliver the goods. Having a wide knowledge base over a wide area of tools helps to achieve this outcome. Cinematography for Con is a passion in which learning is an everyday occurrence, as technology is ever evolving.

Con Filippidis has been involved in the film & television industry since the early 90’s. Since 1998 he has been freelancing as a DoP, cinematographer, & camera operator working on numerous projects from dramas, TV series, TVC’s and corporates/web.
