🌞New YouTube Episode🌞

Snuck away last Friday night for a free camp that was incredible!

There's a new segment, cooked on the fire, insane sunset and a sneaky beach free camp that was bloody fantastic!

If you`re looking for a tasty brew and a snack we thoroughly recommend the Moore River Brewing Co which is on the south side of the Moore River.

This an about an hour north of Perth with a nice sandy bank and plenty of room for the kids to run around. Guilderton on the north side of the river is a lovely little town on the river mouth side that has a Caravan Park and its nice spot to pull up for a look.

If you are willing to jump on Google maps and search the coastline and follow what looks like a goat track so can find some spots like this. Didn't really know what it would be like but happy with what we found.

Unfortunately someone else also found this area and decided to explore in his patrol without letting any air out of his tyres but after a couple of hours digging and some help he was free so we could relax.

I`m not willing to share any coordinates but I can say this is a drive north of Perth 😀

After the events of last weekends trip I didn`t think this would happen again but it did, however the recovery was much more difficult!

Free Camping on the beach near Perth was still a great experience though. Just a shame I lost valuable hours helping someone out instead of hanging with Hurley 👌

Lake Brockman/Logue Brook Dam in WA!

An hour and a bit drive south of Perth, $16pp a night in cash to the ranger who visits each day, there are toilets if you park at the right area of the lake with a camp kitchen but mostly its either camping by the lake or up in the bush off grid. The lake itself is wonderfully clean and great for swimming.

Its a skiing lake so there's plenty of boats and jet skis that`ll start up nice and early in the morning, there will likely also be some music playing late but I wouldn`t let that ruin your time here.

Its a great spot to chill out and take it all in. We did come across some idiots that needed some help in an area they shouldn't have been but I couldn't leave them there.

Access is mainly blacktop in with some corrugations bits all pretty gentle and definitely 2 wheel accessible, small or big vans wouldn`t have problem. Also is pet friendly. There is a tourist park available if that's your preference.

Here was an idea shared to the Robson FB group a couple of years ago and after using a few different types of lights myself, I decided to have a crack at it.

The result I'm really happy with, these provide some really good light. All products used are in the video description with links provided also, happy to take any questions.

You know that feeling when your rolling up the swag in the morning when someone walked up to you and says `hey can we borrow your maxtrax?`

You can see in one of the pictures the ranger wasn`t happy with these fellas because they were driving in a restricted area but I just couldn`t leave them there.

Thankfully since last year I`ve had a bag of gear from for that in case of situation, didn`t think it would be for something like this but... you know...

First time using the new lighting setup. The 180 awning has the dimmable white lighting and we also have the fixed side and rear white/red lighting on the canopy.

Both are powered by the premium control hub. Canopy fixed lights are hard wired to the switch the the awning lights connect via usb-a.

Have discounts codes for both if interested via bio but really happy with the results. Would love to hear what you use and recommend 🤔
