About six weeks ago, I launched a podcast merging my passions for F1, travel, food and lifestyle surrounding Formula 1. In the latest episode, my co-host Monique Ceccato and I chat to a F1 PR, Annie Bradshaw, who has been working in motorsport for 50 years.
In this episode, Annie shares what PR was like in the days before the internet was invented, how PR at races has changed, and the days of the Adelaide Grand Prix.
The Beatles’ George Harrison trying to calm the karma, Dame Edna squeezing into Damon Hill's F1 car, a hot lap with Daniel Ricciardo and dealing with Ayrton Senna’s death as the team PR, Annie Bradshaw was there, and she’s still there. She’s a F1 PR and Media mavin who knows everyone and has worked for some of the sport’s greats including Williams, BMW Sauber, the A1 Grand Prix, Lance Stroll… Talk about the hey-day of F1!
Now days, Annie is still working in F1 running media centres in Abu Dhabi and Qatar and consulting to F1 teams, events and other motorsport organisations.
I'd love for you to listen and let me know what you think. I hope you enjoy this episode
