Was sent this lovely photo by Chief organiser of many years Helen Trustum and also Ted Hoddinot who hosted the 40th Bentley Art Prize yesterday. This was taken 10 years ago. I'm sitting next to Former MP Thomas George. Kenny Woodhams hosted the prize in 2015. He is proudly wearing the tux. Always a great day out. It is on again today from 9 till 2 at the Bentley Hall.😀

Much of the stunning array of artistic talents in our region are being showcased at the Bentley Hall for the 40th Bentley Art Prize today and tomorrow. A cheery way to spend a cloudy day.

We have been hearing on our 2LM National News all morning that a new species of stick insect has been found on the Atherton tablelands in Far North QLD.It is called Acrophylla Alta. It weighs as much as a golf ball and is 44 cms long. Let's see if any blow down our way. Here it is😀
