What photographer Harry Benson describes as the best shot of his career: 3:00 AM at Hotel George V in Paris, January 16, 1964 - after being told 'I Want to Hold Your Hand' was top of the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 singles chart:

“One of them said, 'That was some pillow fight we had the other night.’ When I suggested photographing then having another, John said, 'No, we’ll look silly and childish.' Paul was having a brandy – he always ordered expensive drinks – and John crept up behind him and hit him on the head with a pillow. And then it took off.

"With most of my pictures I think I could have done better, but this was the perfect moment, it won’t happen again. I got it.”

❗️Byron Creek Bridge at Bangalow closed for at least another week.

The Byron Creek Bridge at Bangalow will remain closed next week (19 to 23 January) with investigations continuing into the structural integrity of the bridge.

The bridge was closed unexpectedly last Friday afternoon (9 January) after a fire underneath the bridge.

Today we farewelled the Beautiful Soul of our Dear Friend of 2LM, Brenda Armfield. She had a police es**rt to guide her mini moke. The Beef Week Committee yelled out her signature catch cry in this video. She will be sadly missed throughout Casino and surrounds. RIP Brenda.
