The re do episode of #4 of the Cold-blooded Contributions Podcast with Adam Sapiano from the Victorian Herpetological Society (VHS) and Joanne Payne from Illawarra Reptile Society is now up.

We chat with two of the most well known reptile societies here in Australia about their clubs, running expos and we manage to give Scott a bit of stick as well.

Both the VHS and Illawarra have done some wonderful things for the Australian and international h**ping community, and we were wanting people to get a bit of an idea on how proud they are of their clubs, the hobby, and what they have achieved for conservation, but also hoping that people see how much these societies put in to bring you the expos you love attending. Both Illawarra and the VHS are non profit and run by volunteers. We really appreciate all they do.

Getting in an early apology incase the redo episode with Jo Payne from Illawarra Reptile Society and Adam Sapiano from Victorian Herpetological Society (VHS) is late. (What is it with this episode?!)

My faithful assistant (or so he calls himself) likes to climb on my lap and rest his head on the keyboard. After accidently deleting the work I'd done editing Brun decided the loungeroom was more to his liking and I started again.

The new neighbour is currently cutting down everything green in the yard (don't start me here) and I've been told the lines are in the way and I'll be loosing net for at least a day. Currently in the office now madly editing and silently praying they come across the Brushie in a very angry mood (as the tree in question is right outside my window).

I'm hoping all goes well and I don't loose internet, but as the phone lines are right under the tree and I'm hearing a lot of swearing I don't like my chances. It will be up as soon as possible. Apologies to those waiting on it.

Tonight we sit down with Adam Sapiano (president of the Victorian Herpetological Society (VHS) and Jo Payne (president of the Illawarra Reptile Society) to re-do the podcast we did in the beginning of May last year. These guys host some of the biggest, best reptile expos in the country. Unfortunately the audio came through that jumbled on the original episode that I had to give it up as a bad joke as with my basic editing skills it was uneditable.

We will be live tonight (18.02.26) at 7PM EDST.
You can tune in on Facebook live here.
You can also tune in on YouTube here: www.youtube.com/

Episode 24 of the Cold-blooded Contributions Podcast with Brian Barnett & Adam Sapiano from the VHS

In episode 24 We chat with two legends from the Victorian Herpetological Society - Brian Barnett and Adam Sapiano. Brian was the president of the VHS before Adam took over. The Victorian Herpetological Society is one of the oldest and most prestigous reptile societies in Australia. The VHS has done some wonderful things for the Australian and international h**ping community, and it was an honour to hear Brian and Adam talk about what they have achieved.

This is Brian's only podcast to date, and aside from presidential roles with the VHS, he shares with us what it was like keeping, working with reptiles and h**ping from the 1950's till present.
