ANNOUNCEMENT! I'm taking to for a FULL FLEDGED 90 MINUTE ADVENTURE!!

I'll be in the Together Theatre upstairs on Saturday 11-Oct, 2:30-4:00pm, and I'm bringing my sound system and some special graphics to help seal the show - it's going to be absolutely EPIC so don't miss it!

Description follows:

A completely unique rave adventure RPG, centered around video game music, where the crowd (and dice rolls) decide the outcomes.

As part DJ set, part improv theatre performance, Father Matthew (Played by Matt Frequencies (Matthew Jeffery)) invites the crowd to attempt to find Divinity and Unity across the lands of dance, through video game remixes and nerdy references in trance, techno and even psytrance. With demons to battle that require the crowd to help defeat, the path of Unity is a challenging journey...

However, Father Matthew is also beset by the powers of Science and Chaos, represented by Brother Seth; and Vex, The Glitch (both also played by Matthew Jeffery); who have their own musical styles, from garage and drum n bass to metal, and their own agendas – and they will try to sway the crowd to their paths!

This show asks the crowd to get involved by calling back at the DJ to answer simple questions such as – where to begin, the forest, or the beach? Will you fight, or flee? Your voice is your power but fear not, as all paths are valid – and choice is not the only way to get involved!

As you traverse the lands of dance music, you will be tasked with completing encounters using dice rolls with the Giant Inflatable Rave Dice, settling conflicts with diplomacy and coming together to show your prowess as your chosen rave avatars!

There are unlimited ways of traversing the lands of dance, so bring your cosplays, choose your alignment, and gear up – it’s time to Save the Rave!

came along to the Arena After Dark: Character Select Rave , a very special event marking the start of their new "Arena After Dark" series and a massive milestone for me being my 2 year anniversary of when I started DJing!

I'm obsessed with his photography style and these are some of my favourites from the gallery he sent me - it was so good seeing so many friends I've met over the last year on the floor having a great time, and meeting new people, some who hadn't been to this sort of rave before!

A massive thank you to everyone who said they came because I was on the bill, that means so much more than you can imagine ❤️❤️

Hopefully I'll see you all out there again soon 😁 in the meantime, lots more coming up and a huge announcement for November still to come!

Artist breadcrumbs and highlights from my set at Arena After Dark: Character Select Rave!

You all know I love supporting the artists who've supported me, and this was a huge set for me, being my 2 year anniversary of playing for the first time.

Fortress has become my home away from home and I always look forward to coming in, getting connected for soundcheck and embracing the atmosphere in the tavern before a set!

Thank you to everyone that came, my friends I've met over the last while who supported me and said hi, and especially to the people who came up and said they'd come because they saw me on the DJ list - whoa! 🤯

Slides in order, artists tagged as I could (some aren't on insta):

1: My intro and throwback to that first set, RIP AND TEAR - it didn't stay there long but it was DELICIOUS considering the people on the floor! How often do you get to play the Mortal Kombat theme with Kitana??

2: gave me this incredible acid remix of Spice Girls Wannabe a while back and I've been ITCHING to drop it!

3: I remixed Soda Pop for a couple of days before last weekend, and now was my time to throw it down 😁

4: 's remix of Crypt of the Necrodancer - that whole album is a staple in my sets and if you haven't heard it you really should!

5: You lot started line dancing before I ever got to thinking about dropping the Nutbush, so I guess I had to oblige! Throwing this with D4XX 's Tetris remix is a lot of fun 😈

6: There's ALWAYS time for Club Lavender remix! However I don't often play the second drop... 💀😈

7: - DOOM. I know the Eternal soundtrack is a sore spot but the game literally saved my life in 2020 when I became disabled, so yes, it's a staple in my sets and YES this was definitely a reprise of the old RIP AND TEAR moment - which do you prefer though? Rip and TEAR, or Kar En TUK?

8: got this to me literally 20 minutes before I was about to walk out the door, his amazing cover version of Golden!

9: when I ask this question and you say yes, I get giddy... 🤣

10: and wrapping the night on the incredible cover of the HALO theme! The emotions 😭

This has been something I've been working on in my "I don't actually have any time" spare time aka procrastinating from the things I should be doing 😅

The idea for earring speaker arrays (Earrays!) sparked a secondary idea - what if they were functional?

Now I have a portable Bluetooth speaker array that is literally an array of speakers, however the amplifier on the little Otto earbuds I used as donors is *rubbish* (I mean cmon they were $15)

But anyway I digress. The speaker in the Otto's is 32ohm and I've stuck a couple of 8ohm speakers on it in series in order to get a 4ohm total, which is probably going to destroy the amp in short order... So I'm investigating other options for Bluetooth amplifiers. Packaging is tight and I'm pretty happy to have got it all functional at all, but I reckon we can do better!

A few weeks back posted a picture of some 3d printed earring speaker arrays - I said I could probably make something similar and got to work on designing and prototyping!

Partway through the design process the idea occurred oh, what if I could make them active, like actually play music? That'd be fun, right?

Well, turns out... YES I CAN and yes I have! I wouldn't go wearing the active one as an earring though (bit heavy with 4 speaker drivers in it and all the Bluetooth stuff) so I'll design it to go on a pendant as a single speaker round the neck 😁

Gonna cook a few for friends while I prototype this out and get the production process sorted, buuuut watch this space, might need to add a shop front to the newly revamped website (oh, oops, not meant to say that yet am I )

High key obsessed with these shots from from my opening set at the and event!!

Absolutely incredible night, I'll write a much more in depth post soon once I'm somewhat caught up (and the kids are out of the house...) but wanted to share these because DAMN SON!

Also, YouTube video of the set coming soon 😁 just a simple one for now, I'll do some proper editing when I can (at this rate that'll be 2026 🤣 anyone wanna cut video for me?)

Some quick edits off the 360 camera from my opening set for at the and final Winter Series event!

Thank you all so goddamn much for turning up early, rocking out to my nonsense and for allowing me to be part of this absolutely off the chain event!!

This was my first time playing at @170.russell and the team there were incredible to work with, thank you production for going full send all night long!

I'm exhausted, my voice is gone, and I have hours of video poking ahead of me, but I keep smiling at these moments 😁

1 - getting people on the dancefloor??

2 - in an opening set? Only at Venjent 🤣

3 - THAT chemical plant zone remix!

4 - Caught the air bubble!

5 - a very, VERY special track from the amazing

Some highlights from the first half of my performance at - a D&D RAVE adventure powered by !

Holy hell you lot were awesome! The people who fished dice out from their pockets to keep rolling after the Big Die went boom at the start were amazing, the energy was unlike anything I've experienced in a rave setting before, I think we actually went and created something new on the weekend!

I've tagged artists as I could through the videos, and the whole lot is on my YouTube - but a better cut will have to wait, I'm turning my attention to my support set for himself this Friday!

The first time I heard 'Oblivion' I knew it was going to be a regular in my sets. The bass, the epic Orchestral, the savage synths, just a masterpiece of sound!

Howeveeerrrrrrrrr I play a LOT of drum n bass and it just wasn't going to sit against that as well as I wanted, so I asked - and the main Crustacean himself delivered! So I now present: Oblivion - End of All Things Remix (aka MF DnB)

Check it on my soundcloud, and eventually on bandcamp and Youtube when I get my act together!

Little gallery of the short while I was able to be at Howler last night - caught half of Craze and half of Dillinja's set, man, it was so fu***ng invigorating but also MASSIVELY validating seeing Dillinja dropping Pendulum after being told near the end of last year that Pendulum wasn't DnB! (cmon, we all know that's bu****it but it stuck in my head)

has fu***ng mad chop game, watching him play the crowd was EPIC, and is just the coolest cat I've seen at the deck, mega chill, casually dropping bombs and getting maximum FUARK ORFF energy!

and themeing and VFX were on point, the Winter Series has kicked of on a mad high note!
