Fatuma Abdi Jehow, the current Women Representative of Wajir County, has become the embodiment of the phrase "preaching water and drinking wine." While she often parades herself as a symbol of inspiration, especially before young students at Wajir High School,who were yesterday marking their 60th Anniversary, her academic record is known by every sundry in Wajir especially those who know her at personal level.
Fatuma’s educational journey started at Wajir Girls Primary School, during what many locals refer to as the “Nyayo era.” She sat for her KCPE and performed below average. She was later admitted to Wajir Girls Secondary School but, unfortunately, failed miserably missing a chance to join any university. In a desperate attempt to salvage her academic life, she moved to Njoro Girls Secondary School in Nakuru to retake her KCSE exams, where she still scored a disappointing D+.
Determined to secure an academic title, Fatuma joined Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT), where she began with a Certificate in Information Technology, later progressed to a Diploma, and eventually completed a Bachelor of Science in IT graduating with a Pass (the lowest honors classification). Ironically, despite this academic journey in IT, Fatuma is reportedly unable to operate a basic personal computer, let alone navigate the complexities of today’s fast-evolving digital world.The only thing that is conspicuous in Wajir County Women Rep is her bleaching skin complexion, her elongated legs and her walking like an overfed duck with high heels pretending herself to reach at the apex of life.
Politically, the Women Rep. is not sellable to Wajir County people. They fade up with this tribal engineered and wired Women Rep. who can't move out of her tribal and family cuccon and extend her politics out of Bulla Alimaow dumpsite. It is ironic of our time when the politically dead Women Rep can chest thump on behalf of President Ruto and lying to him for stealing votes for him if he doesn't win through popular votes. If today we conduct a poll opinion over the leadership of this smack-head Women Rep, she can't even garner 5% of the total votes she got in the previous August polls. Let the Women Rep keep her political house in order before she plans for President Ruto's political scheme whether he rigs it or wins through a popular vote.
NB: Reer Wajeer should know that,the Women Rep is currently struggling with family breakups with her 'Aterere-lineage' husband because of her finding him as a thorn in a flesh or even call it a black sheep. This comes at a time when close political advisers said to her that her politics in Wajir County will not be sealable if she still shares the same bed with this 'Aterere-lineage' husband. The low IQ Women Rep has now chased her husband thinking of her re-election after separation. Therefore, whatever the Women Rep is saying on public podiums shouldn't be digested because she is suffering from marriage and sexual frustrations.She is now reduced to sharing tables in hotels with men in the name of getting a pure man hailing from pure Somali lineage.
