Feel.

It’s very important that we practice this as human beings.

A little every day will be enough.

All of us are dealing with different storms ⛈ in our life, be it...

⚡Relationship
⚡Financial
⚡Health
⚡Business
⚡Family
⚡Personal
⚡Etc.

We don't get a choice about the storm...

We do get a choice however on HOW we respond to those storms and WHEN.

✨️ There's an area in America - Colorado Rocky Mountains, where both cows 🐄 and buffalo 🦬 live in close proximity to each other.

As a storm 🌩⛈ approaches the cows move away from the storm and start moving in the opposite direction.

Eventually the storm catches up with them, they feel the full force of the storm and have to stay in the storm and run with storm, as there's no where else for them to go.

The buffalo on the other hand, when the storm approaches RUN TOWARDS 🏃 the storm and through the storm. They feel the full brunt of the storm but for a shorter amount of time.

They get to the other side... to clearer skies much quicker. Thus minimising the amount of time and pain they experience. ✨️

Our words carry energy 💥

Pay attention to your self-talk as it creates your physical outcomes.

If you're constantly saying:
"I don't know how..."
"This is too much for me"
"This is killing me"
"I can't do this..."
Then that will be your outcome.

Start speaking in a way that creates new ways to finding solutions.

"I'm figuring this out...",
"This is making me more..."
"Every movement is making me stronger"
"I can do this..."

All frankly more true than the previous statements.

For there is always a way, an answer, more strength available to you.

Well firstly, it's not your goals.

The universe isn't interested in achievement of goals... it's interested in your heart.

Who are you as a person? How do you conduct yourself?

When you choose kindness, compassion and love over achievement of goals... that's purpose.

In a world full of smoke and mirrors,
it is easy enough to be led in a direction that does not serve.

To believe that what we see, hear, taste is the truth.

But what about what we feel.
Does it feel like truth?

Take a moment next time something feels ‘off’
Sit with it.
Ask yourself the question.

You’ll be surprised when you start practicing this just how accurate you are.

The realization then... is that the ‘Greatest Show on Earth’ isn’t out there… it’s within.

𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗮𝘀 𝗺𝘂𝗰𝗵 𝗮 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗲 𝗮𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗼𝗰𝗲𝗮𝗻𝘀, 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗺𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻𝘀, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘁𝘀… 𝗶𝗻𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗹𝘆 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝗲𝗹𝗳-𝗻𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴.

Yet you play a small game.

Why?

Throughout time, people have been persecuted because of their beliefs, practices, intelligence, appearance, behaviours and personality.

This persecution has then lead to trauma… in this case ancestral trauma being passed on to generations that followed.

Trauma that is not necessarily evident to the eye, but that lives deep down in the soul and our DNA.

I bring this up because it comes out in my coaching sessions and conversations that I have with clients and it saddens me that this stops them fully stepping into their BIG dreams.

𝗜𝘁 𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗸𝘀 𝗹𝗶𝗸𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀…

🚨 You feel called to share your gifts but feel anxiety, guilt, shame that you might be judged.

🚨 It is difficult for you to speak your truth and be authentically seen.

🚨 You feel like you are too much or not enough and struggle to fit in to ‘the norm’

These are just some of the signs.

Your soul remembers the wounding that was endured; however, your soul has also chosen to live this human life at this time for a reason… the reason is your purpose.

𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘀𝗼𝘂𝗹 𝗽𝘂𝗿𝗽𝗼𝘀𝗲.

It is my personal belief that we must do all we can to clear the way for our purpose.

You were born to live a magical life.
In unison with the universe.
Know that you are guided and protected.

𝟭𝟰 𝗧𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗺𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗸𝗻𝗼𝘄 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗺𝗲 (𝗼𝗿 𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗱 𝗼𝗻 𝗚𝗼𝗼𝗴𝗹𝗲)

Some of you here are new to my world and some following for a little while… either way nice to meet you and here’s some random truths.

1. I’m an ambivert. Like introvert and extrovert, but not. I’m in the middle… Center stage when I have to be, otherwise behind the scenes recharging my batteries and relishing in alone time and creative space 80% of the time.

2. I’m a ‘ghost’ writer. People pay me to write their content for their websites, emails, social sites, presentations because it’s not their zone of genius. I craft their stories, that they then use to communicate and connect better, magnifying their reach and impact.

3. I love crystals. The more I learn about them and their healing and energy properties, the more I love. There’s more to them then meets the eye, like me.

4. I’m partial to driving fast. And with a surname like Carrera, I’m told it’s a given.

5. I'm a naturally curious person, so I'm fascinated to learn what makes people tick. I find the gem within each person and shine a spotlight on it so that others are drawn - like me - to their presence.

6. I’ve caught 100 Ubers in 100 days. I had my license suspended for a while (see point 4)

7. I love stories and storytelling. I’ve seen people’s stories change other people’s lives. I believe we are meant to share in this way, just like our ancestors did.

8. I wrote a book on my life experience to inspire a life. I believe I’ve done that.

9. I grew up in a working-class family in the multi-cultural, western suburbs of Melbourne. Which has given me an appreciation for resourcefulness, a strong work ethic and will power.

10. I buy something new ‘to try’ from the supermarket weekly. Why? I’m building my ‘uncertainty’ muscle.

11. I can read and write in the Cyrillic alphabet.

12. My two girls call me a foodie. They would be right. I love ‘the art’ of food.

13. I love making Vanilla Slice. People lick their plates after eating my version. I make it for this reason now.

14. My favourite thing to do as a child was to create. Still is.

You might be wondering whether you even need one?

The answer to that is it depends.
