Today marks our first year here in Australia. 🇦🇺
The last 12 months has its share of ups and downs, but here we are, making it work however we can. ❤️
Starting from scratch is hard, but we’re hopeful that we’ll thrive, soon. 🙏
As the Aussies say, “No worries.” 👍
Just enjoy the little things, for one day, we’ll look back at this chapter and be proud of how we made it here. 🙂

When 41 hits hard...

They say you’re halfway through life now. That thought took my breath away.
Forty-one years behind. Maybe forty-one more ahead, maybe less. Nobody really knows.

But here’s what I do know:
Half of my life is already written. Precious moments I can never get back.
First steps, first heartbreaks, first hellos and hardest goodbyes.
Some chapters built me. Others showed who I don’t want to be.

And now at this halfway point, everything feels different.
I look at my younger self and wish I could tell him: You’re special, you’re enough. And that you are loved.

I look at my kids and realize that someday, they’ll be without me.
They’ll face problems I can’t help fix. They’ll build lives I might only glimpse.

That truth scares me the most.
Because if this really is halftime, I don’t want to waste the second half playing small.
No holding back “I love yous” for perfect moments. No postponing of dreams because I’m not “ready.” Not missing today because I’m too busy worrying about tomorrow.

Forty-one taught me something beautiful yet terrifying: Time doesn’t wait. Not even for people who finally figured out what matters.

So here’s my birthday wish, not just for myself:
May you love without keeping score. May you forgive quickly and deeply.
May you chase joy like your life depends on it... because it does.
May you leave behind more love than regrets.

Whatever number you’re turning:
We’re not promised tomorrow. We’re not even promised the rest of today.
But we have this moment. This breath. This heartbeat. This chance.
And that’s the greatest gift we’ll ever receive.

Here’s to the second half. May it be the best one yet. 🎂❤️

The effect of not having new year’s resolutions. 3 weeks consistent now.
For years, I’ve struggled going to the gym, as I’ve always hated repetitive tasks and just sitting and lifting.
But somehow, i now look forward to the mats.
Maybe because I can release my inner aggression out to the bag.
Also I don’t have to wear shoes.😅
