Our Story
OLDTVGEAR.COM is a private collection of broadcast technology, from vintage television cameras through to videotape machines and assorted historic memorabilia relating to the television and film industry.
The collection is funded primarily through donations of obsolete equipment that otherwise was destined to be disposed or destroyed.
oldtvgear.com is a division of the Australian Television Archive, which offers comprehensive archival footage research and supply services, along with archival film and video transfer/digitisation services to both the broadcast and domestic sectors.
*Please note oldtvgear.com does not pay ransom amounts for old /vintage equipment as most items we accept are donation only, however on occasion where its warranted a token fee can be negotiated.
