Where should I go next? Melbourne isn’t boring, you just don’t know where to go... so consider this it ✨Mia’s guide✨ to a music lovers night out in Melbourne!!

We’re starting at Sabi Sounds - a cafe and vinyl listening lounge with great food, drinks, and a library of records which you can enjoy in your own private bookable listening booths. They also host “sabi sessions” at night with acoustic live music, and various events throughout the week like sketch and sips, music trivia, no scroll club & more..

Next is LB’s Record Bar in the city - I LOVE this place, such a cool vibe and a great rotation of local DJs playing vinyls sourced from independent record stores. Get there early (opens 4pm) for a more laid back vibe, and stay into the night while it turns into a party🪩

Last but not least, Beneath Driver Lane an underground bar down a hidden staircase, with the best live blues music playing from 9pm. This is one of my favourite places to take people who are new to Melbourne and love Jazz / Funk / Blues, so definitely add it to your list.

Something I don’t talk about often is ✨the worst time of my entire life✨

AKA 2020, the year I got so sick, was constantly in and out of hospital and nobody could tell me what was wrong. Every doctor and specialist i saw just threw things at the wall to see what stuck… Literally bandaids but never the actual problem. So i gave up on it, slowly got better on my own and figured i wasn’t going back unless i was actually dying.

I recently went to the Melbourne Apothecary for gold ear seeding, and saw they also did naturopathy… After about 5 years i thought fine, one more go.

Oh… my god. It was the most thorough hour of my life. food, sleep, exercise, family history, stress, habits, every corner of my life. After having the experiences I’ve had previously, this was like wow I’ve never felt so heard. Plus simple, reasonable recommendations that actually made sense??? Crazy I know

If you’re in a similar boat to me (or have even just been looking for a good naturopath) then I have found one who has restored my faith… you’re welcome 🦄🌈✨🧚

What’s better than a weekend in Melbourne, seeing your favourite shows, shopping in the city and staying at Lancemore Hotels Crossley St ✨

What a busy weekend - Ruel at Nova’s Red Room, Erin LeCount at the Forum, Pretty Woman at the Regent…

The Lancemore Crossley St has everything you need, literally the world on your doorstep - theatre district, Paris end shopping, Chinatown, and 2 streets from my favourite hidden bars and lounges. what a well-located spot!

And it’s not just outside the door - the theme runs through the whole hotel. art filled interiors, textures, unique designs, and mood lighting throughout… check that chandelier!

It’s also the perfect spot to relax and unwind between exploring - my highlights were the hosted hour every afternoon for drinks, and the rooftop terrace with an amazing view of the city from above.

Thank you Lancemore Hotels for having me, I’ll be back!

📍Melbourne | If you’re always the one booking girls night, there’s a reason for it... You’ve got the good venue recs and Pretty Boy Bar & Restaurant has to be one of them 👀

There’s something about the mixture of cool décor (inspired by Melbourne’s colourful mafia history), amazing cocktails, and delicious food, that’ll make Pretty Boy your go-to. This time, We had baked Camembert, five-spiced calamari, lemon herb chicken, seafood spaghetti, ravioli and the best Mississippi mud cake - literally 10/10

Bonus: it’s central location inside Novotel & Ibis Melbourne Central means you’re walking distance to all the next best venues, to keep the night going on and onnnn 💃

Grab the girls & I’ll see you there. 🖤
