Setting out on this 2 week trip , our destination was the iconic Cameron Corner , where 3 state borders meet , NSW ~ SA ~ QLD. We went via a cool little place called Packsaddle, where travelers & truckies fuel up , for both for the car and the belly 😜. It was a true bucket list trip ! Flys galore and interesting road side views.

So after making our way from Broken Hill to Tibooburra & Cameron Corner for 2 nights , we decided to go back to Broken Hill to complete our visit. The weather was too good not to spend another full day in this fascinating city. We completed our visit with a 3 hour walking guided tour. The tour is run by the Information centre and is only a donation to attend. We also went to the Royal Flying Doctors tourist centre. A walk to a titanic memorial & found a delicious local bakery. Visited a fantastic train museum. Each place has unbelievable history and unique stories. Again Broken Hill is a must visit destination 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻.

📍Silverton !! What a double duo ! . We were super impressed in their homages to minors past. From the Day Dream mining underground tour , to The Mad Max Museum at Silverton, they have it all, and much more. The Pro Hart Gallery & Mundi Mundi lookout !. We stayed at a fantastic Penrose Park in Silverton. Only intended on staying 2 nights, we ended up there for 3 and honestly could have stayed another night. Great park with excellent facilities and friendly staff. 9/10 📍

📍Lake Tyrrell ~ what a cute little stop over ~ excellent free camp , if you don’t mind a few trucks during the night . 🔥 allowed, with a gorgeous sunset & public facilities 🌅 8/10
