School holidays are wrapping up, and wow… what a time it’s been.

We’ve laughed, explored, and soaked up every moment together. But Friday was tough—dropping off my stepdaughter and seeing my little one heartbroken already missing her big sister… that one hit deep.

This is exactly why I started this business.
Because school holidays shouldn’t mean working the whole time.
It shouldn’t be just “business as usual” while our kids are making memories without us.

I wanted freedom.
To say yes to spontaneous adventures.
To be present.
To not miss these moments we can never get back.

For the longest time, I kept telling myself:
❌ “This is just how life is.”
❌ “I have to work a 9-5 forever.”
❌ “I don’t have time for anything else.”

But then I asked myself: What if I’m wrong?

Why I Started This Business 🙌

At first, I thought my why was simple—financial freedom and being a present parent. I wanted to make more money, have more choices, and be there for my kids. But the more I reflected, the more I realized that wasn’t the full story. My why runs deeper than that.

Growing up in an Islander household, money was always tight. My parents didn’t know better back then—they were still trying to settle in a new country, doing everything they could to give us a better life. But as a kid, I didn’t understand that. I just remember moments, like watching my brother eat Maccas while my sister and I sat there, not fully understanding why we couldn’t have any. Now, as an adult, I get it. Being a parent comes with huge financial responsibilities, and I know my parents did the best they could.

That’s why I want more for my kids. I want them to have opportunities, experiences, and the freedom to do things I never could. But I also want to raise them with discipline, to teach them that nothing comes easy—you have to work for what you want. I also want to retire myself and my partner. I don’t want us to be stuck in the 9-5 grind forever, missing out on our kids’ lives. I want us to be present—at every event, every milestone, every little moment that truly matters.

But the more I thought about it, the more I realized my biggest why isn’t just my kids or financial freedom. My biggest why is my dad. He’s worked his whole life, and even now, when he should be slowing down, he’s still pushing through. Retirement is years away for him, but I don’t want him to wait that long. If I can retire myself and my partner, then I can retire my dad, too. I want him to finally have the freedom to just enjoy life—to spend his days gardening, relaxing, and doing whatever makes him happy.

At the end of the day, this business isn’t just about money. It’s about freedom. It’s about breaking cycles. It’s about giving my kids and my family a life that isn’t defined by struggle. And most of all, it’s about giving back to the man who gave me everything.❤️

I’ll be honest—I’ve been slacking on my business. Life gets busy, and between work, parenting, and everything in between, it’s easy to put things on the back burner.

But the truth is, I started this business for a reason—to create a better life for my family, to be more present, and to give my kids the experiences I never had growing up. And slacking off isn’t going to get me there.

So I’m getting back into it, slowly but surely, because I know this works. I see what’s possible, and I refuse to let this opportunity slip away.
