To close out 2025, we were extremely excited to support international producer and live performer Rodriguez Jr. at the iconic Gershwin Room. Marking the launch of the brand-new Solaris collective in collaboration with local legends Morning After, the night was a celebration of underground electronic music.

Building on the momentum of our live performance supporting Doppel, we stepped into this show with a completely revamped set—a deeper, more intentional selection of original tracks designed specifically for the dance floor. We’re deep in the studio now and can’t wait to share the next chapter with you in 2026.

Tomorrow marks a massive milestone as we officially launch Depth Melbourne to all major streaming services!

Depth Melbourne Various Artists Compilation 2026 will be available THIS FRIDAY, February 6th, 2026, for you to buy and stream.

We couldnt have asked for a better line up of australian talent to kick off our label. We have been lucky enough to film all the artists perform live for our depth perception series so check that out aswell!

2026 marks a transformative milestone for DEPTH Melbourne. What began a decade ago as a grassroots creative collective is evolving into a multifaceted electronic music record label and media hub.

For the past ten years, DEPTH has grown from hosting intimate club gigs in North Queensland to becoming a staple of the Melbourne music scene. Having hosted some of the most influential names in the Australian electronic industry, we are now expanding our mission: not just to share great music, but to release it through our very own imprint.

We are thrilled to officially announce the launch of our new record label. To kick off this journey, we are dropping our very first Various Artists (VA) compilation, featuring a curated selection of sophisticated and tasteful sounds from some of our favourite producers.

Our debut release features an incredible roster of talent, including Dave Leck, Jules Etro, MOONTIDE, Retza, The Oddness and label curators TOBO & Baksta.

RELEASE DATE: Friday 6th February

To signal this new chapter, DEPTH has undergone a complete rebranding evolution. While our original hand-drawn logo from Cairns holds a special place in our history, we’ve collaborated with international artist Ramon Ravira to create a new visual identity. Our new "deep-sea creature" represents our commitment to diving deeper into sound and navigating the future of the underground music scene.

This year, DEPTH Melbourne continues to serve as a premier media and events group. Alongside our exclusive music releases, our content roadmap for 2026 promises to deliver with unique music events, new episodes of our flagship PERCEPTION series, more artist interviews diving deeper into the minds of the music makers and our brand new Select Mix Series hosting curated DJ sets from local and international tastemakers.

The Moontide project focuses on downtempo, world-like electronica, with a huge influence of culture's and sounds from around the globe. Having lived and travelled alot of different countries, Louis has collected and created a huge catalogue of varied sounds and uses these within his productions.
