Come along with me to explore 10 coastal walks in Victoria, Australia this summer 🌞
This last one is short, but powerful. A boardwalk where cliffs, ocean and volcanic history meet at the edge of the Mornington Peninsula.
Before the details, follow for inspiration on movement as medicine, nature as reset, and designing a life shaped by rhythm, not noise 🍃
🔟 Cape Schanck Boardwalk, Mornington Peninsula, Victoria
A dramatic coastal circuit that shows how movement doesn’t have to be long to be meaningful.
📍 Start at Cape Schanck Lighthouse carpark and follow the walking track toward the Cape
🌊 Walk along the wooden boardwalk descending toward the ocean
🪨 Look out over Pulpit Rock and the Devil’s Desk, volcanic formations shaped over millions of years
👣 Reach the rock platform, where waves and wind remind you of nature’s scale
Walk details
~1 km return • ~20–30 minutes at a relaxed pace
If you have more time, continue onto the Bushrangers Bay Track (2.6 km), one of the most spectacular coastal trails within a day’s drive of Melbourne.
Ten coastal walks later, one thing became clear:
movement doesn’t always require distance, only intention.
〰️ Movement as medicine.
🍃 Nature as reset.
