At the Sundance Film Festival this year, we watched an amazing story called ‘Free Leonard Peltier’. APH has had the privilege to get to know its creators David France and Jesse Short Bull from Public Square Films.

It’s the tragedy and triumph of the human spirit that has been there from our true ancestors to right now. A haunting documentary - you have to see it. Experience it before it comes to any streamer, with a special screening hosted by MIFF and the Birrarangga Film Festival on the 16th and 18th of August!

We are so excited to announce that Australian Production House is a recipient of Screen Australia’s Crew Skilled Program! A huge thank you to Amelia and all at Screen Australia for their financial support. Upskilling and mentoring is something APH is very passionate about and we are very thrilled to partner with Screen Australia for this amazing opportunity.

The program helps bridge the gap on crew skill shortages and boosts the capability of the Australian screen workforce.

Featuring at the Dances with Films independent film festival in Los Angeles to a standing ovation and followed up with a Q&A, where it won BEST DOCUMENTARY! 🌟

MIFF First Glance is up and away! XaSha and Tiffany from Australian Production House were honoured to attend and be among the first to see a special festival preview for the film Lurker on Tuesday Night. This screening was hosted at The Capitol in RMIT for MIFF members.

The film follows a retail worker who worms his way into the orbit of a rising music star, which soon takes a deadly turn. Both XaSha and Tiffany praised the film for its fascinating take on obsession with an unnerving narrative you cant take your eyes off 👀

Last week, our trainees Amy and Zach were invited to a premiere screening of a new Binge series called Mix Tape 🎵
The series starring Teresa Palmer and Jim Sturgess had a first episode screening hosted by AACTA and held at Palace Cinemas Como.

After the screening series producer Angie Fielder took the stage and answered any burning questions the audience had 🎤

A fun evening was had by all - check out some of the pictures from the evening!

Louise and XaSha from APH are still buzzing about their incredible time at Screen Forever! After countless meetings, scheduling catch ups and reading lots of e-mails… the team can't wait to do it again next year! 🎉

On Tuesday night, August and Sam from APH, were lucky enough to attend a MIFF Member Preview Screening for the upcoming Horror Bring Her Back at ! 👻

This is the second feature film from the Aussie director duo, the Philippou brothers. They rose to success with the first feature, Talk To Me, and now continue to thrill and scare audiences with Bring Her Back - as confirmed by our Trainee August who states, ‘Jesus, that was scary’! 🫣 They both highly rated the film as a must watch horror!

Talk to Me also showcases the amazing talents of Sophie Wilde (watch this space).
