There comes a time when you have to choose between the person you were and the person you’re becoming. 💛

Growth asks you to confront the parts of yourself you’ve spent years avoiding.

The fear.
The hurt.
The attachment.
The need for validation.
The habit of giving too much to people who give too little.
The belief that you have to keep holding on simply because you once cared.

The hardest part of transformation is accepting that not everything can come with you.

Some patterns have to end.
Some doors have to close.
Some people have to be released.
And some versions of yourself have to be left behind.

You’re not losing who you are.

You’re becoming who you were always meant to be.

Sometimes the greatest rebirth begins with finally saying:

“I’m not going back to who I used to be.” 💛✨

The one who stops accepting what previous generations were taught to tolerate.

The one who questions the patterns.
The one who sets the boundaries.
The one who chooses peace over dysfunction.
The one who decides that pain doesn’t need to keep being passed from generation to generation.

Healing isn’t about blaming those who came before us. It’s about recognising what was handed down and deciding what we will — and will not — carry forward.

Some things were never yours to carry in the first place.

When you heal yourself, you change what gets passed on.

And sometimes, one person choosing differently can change an entire family line. ❤️
