Soul in the City is a Northern Soul club that has been running for 17 years with quarterly events at the Polish Club in Brisbane. We play a broad range of soul music including Northern Soul, Modern Soul and Motown from original vinyl. Anyone who has a love of Soul and dancing will enjoy our friendly atmosphere. Sorry for the delayed post.

Thank you all for your excellent support of our night, we had 110 in last week which is a great night for us, just fantastic. Thank you.
Ok, thanks to our hosts the Polish Club for all they do to faciltate our night, in particular Eliza, Rysiek, Jeremy and Rose for their hard work on the night.

Thank you to my co-hosts Steve and Ainsley for all their hard work in putting the night together and for the endless banter that keeps us all going and to our long suffering wives for putting up with our s**t.

Thanks to our DJ's Steve, Ainsley, Mark Webb and Brian Williams for great work and excellent records played on the night.
Thanks to anyone who helped with the packdown and load out of the night which is always an arduous task.

Final thanks to you all again for your continued support, it's been a great year for us and none of it would be possible without you turning up and supporting our night, it is appreciated more than you know.

I'll post the photos sometime over the Christnas break when I get time to edit them all, watch this space.

Anyone who knows of Wigan Casino, Blackpool Mecca, The Twisted Wheel, Allnighters, Alldayers, Weekenders will be pleasantly surprised to discover the music is still alive and that the crowd are still as enthusiastic as ever. Soul in the City is a Northern Soul club that has been running for 14 years with events every 3 months at the Polish Club in Brisbane. We play a range of soul music including Northern Soul, Modern Soul and Motown, all of our music is played from vinyl 45’s. Anyone who has a love of soul, Motown and dancing will enjoy our friendly atmosphere. All newcomers are encouraged to attend and will be made to feel welcome.
