NAPLAN 2026 Numeracy Trend Report

The 2026 NAPLAN Numeracy results indicate strong student achievement across all year levels. More than 83% of students in Years 3, 5, 7, and 9 achieved results above the national average, demonstrating consistently strong numeracy performance throughout the school.

Year 9 recorded the highest proportion of students performing above the national average (86.8%), followed closely by Year 5 (84.8%) and Year 3 (84.2%). The percentage of students in the Developing category remained low across all cohorts, ranging from 6.5% to 11%, indicating that only a small number of students require additional support.
High-achieving students were represented in every year level, with Year 5 and Year 7 recording the largest proportion of students in the Exceeding category (8.7% and 9.5% respectively). Overall, the results reflect effective teaching practices and strong student engagement in mathematics.

The school's Numeracy performance demonstrates a positive trend, with 92.1% of students achieving either Above National Average or Exceeding results. Continued targeted support for developing learners and enrichment opportunities for high-performing students will further strengthen future outcomes.
