Bo’s very own VIP area 😂🐴
We’ve built our little man his own special yard — and the best part is, Bo can come and go whenever he pleases simply by walking underneath the fence.
The others? Too tall! 😂 So they can’t follow him in and harass him, steal his food or interrupt his peace and quiet.
Tiny pony privileges at their finest. Clever little setup for our clever little man. 🤎

There are so many wonderful things about owning our own land and being custodians of the animals who call it home. But farm life also comes with responsibilities that aren’t always pleasant.

Tonight Oakley alerted us that something wasn’t right. She’d gone outside for a toilet stop and suddenly started barking and trying to get over the fence — completely out of character for our normally quiet girl.

We quickly discovered a large fox very close to our back door.

Thankfully hubby was able to dispatch it quickly. Foxes are a feral predator and, with the animals we have here, we simply can’t take the risk of allowing one to remain around the property — particularly with little Hendrik now here.

It’s certainly not a part of country life we enjoy, but protecting the animals in our care sometimes means making the necessary decisions.

And I think Oakley earned herself an extra treat tonight. 🐾🤍
