London’s churches are filled with centuries of history, but some of the things hidden inside them are far stranger than stained glass, old pews and impressive architecture.

In this episode of WTAF Paranormal Case Files, Anne and Renata explore 13 of the creepiest, most bizarre and completely unexpected things you can find inside churches across London.

We’re talking unusual relics, macabre memorials, strange carvings, mysterious artefacts, forgotten stories and historical oddities that have survived for hundreds of years, sometimes sitting quietly in places thousands of people walk past without ever knowing they are there.

Some are fascinating. Some are unsettling. Some are downright weird.

And, as always, we’ll look beyond the sensational stories to uncover the history, legends and explanations behind these remarkable objects and locations.

Hi fans,
We are travelling down to Victoria to do some filming and staying the night at the Shamrock Hotel in Bendigo.
We have questions!

Jane O'Brien, a hotel maid at the Hotel Shamrock in Bendigo (then Sandhurst), survived a dramatic 10-meter fall from an upper window in January 1884 during an episode of intense religious distress.

The 1884 IncidentThe Event: In January 1884, following the death of a priest who had been staying at the hotel, the devoutly religious Jane O'Brien experienced a severe mental breakdown or episode of "religious hysteria".

The Fall: She leaped or fell from a third-story window/roof area down to the ground below. The Claim: She told witnesses that a terrifying "demon girl" with fiery eyes had commanded her to jump.

The Outcome: Miraculously, aside from severe bruising and shock, she survived the fall with remarkably uninjured limbs and was placed under medical care.

Legend and Ghost StoriesThe Haunting: Over the decades, this historical event morphed into local folklore.

The Fourth Floor: Ghost tours and urban legends today claim that the spirit of Jane O'Brien still haunts the notoriously untouched fourth floor of the Hotel Shamrock, with storytellers attributing her tragic myth to a fatal rooftop jump rather than her actual historical survival.
But, why would a MAID try to end her life because the local priest died?
And, she did not die. She lived beyond this incident.
We need to know more!

What happens when The Warren Occult Museum comes to Salem, a city where modern witches have some VERY strong feelings about Ed and Lorraine Warren? And what happens to a paranormal community when one of Australia’s most famous haunted locations suddenly closes its doors?

Paranormal Hotseat is LIVE at 8.30pm AEST, and Anne, Renata and Cousin Steve are back around the table for another night of paranormal news, controversy, history and debate.

Renata: The Warren Museum comes to Salem

The collection associated with paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren has arrived in Salem, Massachusetts, but its presence in the Witch City raises some fascinating questions.

The Warrens were famously opposed to witchcraft and frequently interpreted alleged paranormal activity through a strongly religious and demonological lens. So how does their legacy sit within modern Salem, where witchcraft has become an important part of the city's culture, identity and tourism?

And what do Salem's witches actually think about it?

Anne: Aradale is CLOSED. What happens now?

The sudden closure of Aradale Lunatic Asylum in Ararat, Victoria has sent ripples far beyond the gates.

Our own paranormal investigation and filming plans were cancelled, but we're only one small part of a much bigger story.

What happens to paranormal tour operators, investigators, accommodation providers, tourism and local businesses when a major heritage attraction suddenly disappears from the paranormal map?

And there's another question worth asking: does removing public access protect historic places, or could losing tourism, income and public interest ultimately make their future even more uncertain?

Cousin Steve: He's bringing his own topic to the Hotseat. What has he found for us this week?

As always, we want YOU involved in the conversation.

Do you think the Warren collection belongs in Salem? How do you feel about the Warrens' legacy within modern paranormal investigation? And what does the closure of Aradale mean for paranormal tourism and heritage preservation in Australia?

Have your say in the LIVE CHAT. Agree with us, disagree with us, bring your evidence and tell us what you think.

This isn't about blindly believing everything paranormal.

It's about the history, the evidence, the claims and the debate.

THE ATLAS VAMPIRE: Sweden’s Most Chilling Unsolved Murder

In May 1932, 32-year-old Lilly Lindeström was found murdered inside her Stockholm apartment. The killer was never identified.

But it was what investigators reportedly discovered at the crime scene that transformed an unsolved murder into one of Sweden’s most disturbing legends.

A bloodstained ladle.

And claims that Lilly’s blood had been removed from her body.

The unknown murderer would eventually become known as The Atlas Vampire.

In this episode of WTAF Paranormal Case Files, Anne and Renata investigate the strange and disturbing case of Lilly Lindeström and the Atlas Vampire of Stockholm.

What actually happened inside that apartment in 1932? What evidence supports the infamous story that the murderer drank Lilly’s blood? Was this really the work of someone with a bizarre obsession with blood, or has an already horrific murder been transformed over decades of retelling into something far more sensational?

We’ll examine the known facts of the case, the investigation, the alleged vampire-like elements and, importantly, where documented history ends and legend begins.

Because sometimes the strangest part of an unsolved mystery isn’t what happened.

It’s what the story becomes afterwards.

WTAF Paranormal Case Files investigates strange history, unexplained phenomena, paranormal cases, bizarre mysteries and the stories that refuse to die. We look beyond the legend, examine the evidence and ask the question that matters:

What the actual f* happened?**

What do YOU think happened to Lilly Lindeström?

Was the Atlas Vampire really a blood-drinking killer, or did the vampire story grow around an unsolved murder?

Tell us your theory in the comments.
