Let me tell you a little secret ladies?

This is one of, if not, the biggest mistake I see people making all the time....
⠀⠀
You are trying to start and/or scale your business all wrong.

I would hate to say it but you’ve got it backwards.
⠀⠀
I hear this all time:
‘I’ve got to get my website up before I start my business’.
‘I’ve got to build a 1000 plus audience.’
‘I’ve got to take on a couple more free or discounted clients first.’
‘I’ve got to have a logo.’
‘I’ve got to get this certification.’
⠀⠀
…. and it goes on....

STOP OVER-COMPLICATING IT!!!!
⠀⠀
It is SO not that complicated AND you not only can do it, but once you get in the swing of it it comes easier!

There are people that want your thing, your offer, your service, your product..

Here’s the most important basics of what you need to know:
⠀⠀
1️⃣ WHY--Get crystal clear on your ‘why’

Why are you going after this? Is this your dream?

Why are you taking time and energy to grow your business?

What is that motivation?
⠀⠀
2️⃣WHO--Who do you most feel aligned with serving?

Who is your dream ideal client?

Who could you spend all day with, helping solve their problems?

3️⃣WHAT--What is your signature offer?

What is your program or offer going to solve your ideal client’s problem?

What is that end TRANSFORMATION and RESULT that your client will receive? - If you haven't been told this before "this is all they care about"!

4️⃣TAKE ACTION-- Get in front of your ideal clients, speak to them in your content, educate them, give them value daily, and I mean EVERY SINGLE DAY.

Connect with them, build relationships, and start sharing YOU to the world

YOU DO NOT NEED THESE TO START MAKING SALES:
A website
❎ A fancy logo
❎ All the bells and whistles to do all the things
❎To be on 10 different platforms (yes, I see you trying to do this. Master 1-2 platforms, hang out where YOUR ideal clients are hanging out and provide massive value - that's it!

So I was having a conversation last night with my coach and I want to share it with you.

For me when I started my business I had no idea what that entailed. No one does right until you are actually in it.

But I knew that my need to stay at home with my children was non-negotiable. I had already missed out on so much of their early years working in management roles. It made me miserable. My life felt like it was slipping between my figures.

I had no real quality of life, I was paying a fortune in child care and I was working weekends, nights as it never stopped. My husband worked away a lot. I dreamt of this other life...

I didn't know what to do - I thought this was just how life was meant to be.

I did know a couple of things though:

💞 I had skills ie. admin, management, people skills, customer service etc.
💞 I knew I wanted to help women and mums in the same situation that I was in
💞 I wanted to show other women and mums that they don't HAVE to go back to the 9-5
💞 I wanted to live life on my terms
💞 I didn't want to feel unappreciated and undervalued anymore
💞 I wanted to contribute financially to my family
💞 I wanted to work less and make more money
💞 I needed to have my life back
💞 I wanted to have fun again

So that is when I caught myself out on my own god damn story.

I have skills, I can do something. I can be a mum again. I can have freedom again. I can make this work.

So I did.

I went and dusted off my old laptop. I cleared a nook in the house and I got on social media and started telling people what I could do.

💥 I now do the things that light me up
💥 I get to do my life on my terms
💥 I get to school sports days
💥 I get to do after school activities and school holidays
💥 I get to have coffee and lunch dates
💥 I get to go for a walk, or the beach, or the gym

So what I am saying here is STOP telling yourself stories and start doing you and what you truly deeply want.

Go study the thing
Get a coach or a mentor
Go do the hobby you love and make it a business
Buy the thing you want
Spend more time on you
Go put your feet in the sand
Take a walk in nature
Take a chance on yourself - you know you can do anything you put your mind to
Start saying Yes and just do it

For me:
😍 I wanted to be happy again
😍 I wanted more me time
😍 I wanted to feel good again
😍 I wanted to live again
😍 I wanted more than just living for the weekend
😍 For me, it was the most scariest thing I have ever done - to give up my security blanket
😍 I wanted to look after me and my family better

So stop right this very minute and decide to change it - change it all
Stop looking at everyone else's dream life and make it your own
Dont let you dream die - life is too short.

You are amazing
You are enough
You have it already inside of you
You have skills that other people need
People need YOU! People need other people in business!

This is where you come in with your skills....

Every single day is and can be a new beginning.
