Founded in 1974, the main objective of AROCA is to encourage and/or promote the involvement in motor sport; by fostering better acquaintance and social spirit between owners of Alfa Romeo vehicles in Australia. In addition, to help advance Alfa Romeo owners and ownership; to establish and maintain by example a high standard of conduct and respect for the laws of the road.

Concorso D'Eleganza again proved why it remains one of the annual highlights on the club calendar. Another great display of fine Italian machinery, that did not disappoint. From timeless classics to modern marvels, the display reaffirmed Concorso’s reputation as a must-attend event for lovers of not only Alfa Romeo, but all Italian cars. 🍀

Back in May, as part of our celebration of the 115th Anniversary of the Alfa Romeo marque, the racing and social fraternities of our club organised a truly spectacular day to combine both track and social into a memorable event at SMSP. 🏁

Here is a video recap of what was truly an awesome day. 🍀

A massive thank you to Mark Baggetto, Richard McKee, Jim Roseby, many others and the AROCA committee for all their hard work in organising the event.

We would like to thank all our members who attended our AGM on Tuesday evening. We would like to welcome our new Lady President Kirsten Campbell and thank our outgoing President Eddy Failla and committee member Paul Newby for all their service to our club for many years.

We would also like to congratulate Eddy on receiving Honorary Life Membership to our great club!

Last but not least, a big thank you to our guest speaker former race car driver Lucio Cesario for sharing the story of his career in motorsport. A truly remarkable story both here in Australia and abroad.

Due to the persistent rain in the Sydney Metropolitan area and the areas to the north of Sydney, both this week and what is predicted, it has been decided to reschedule the Big Day Out Drive.

The rain and the road conditions could render our outing not that pleasant.

We have decided to move the drive forward one week to Sunday 31st August.

Same start time & location.

To those who have already sent an RSVP as attendees for 24th, please reconfirm for the new date.

Apologies if this has upset anyone's plans, but we can control most things apart from the weather!
