This week's update to Oberon Matters might be a little later than usual because I lost most of Monday with no Internet connection and I also had to drive to Bathurst to solve an urgent problem with Centrelink that couldn't be sorted out online (even if the Internet was working).

The NSW Government can today announce two engineering consortia have been shortlisted by Transport for NSW as the Government continues to accelerate the process to safely reopen the Great Western Highway at Victoria Pass.
