As part of this year's Perth Comic Arts Festival, we've curated some pivotal moments and works to present an exhibition with the State Library of Western Australia -- Gestalt Comics: The First Twenty Years

This exhibition celebrates our 20th anniversary of making comics in WA, and acknowledges some of our trailblazing accomplishments to date in supporting and championing emerging comics voices.

Come along and explore some of our pivotal moments from the last two decades, as we highlight some of the best comics and comics creators in Australia!

⚔🔮 Sword and Sorcery Life Drawing 🔮⚔

Wow! Our online tickets have already sold out! However, we will have a limited allocation of tickets will be available on the day. So make sure to be ready to grab your pencil and get to work capturing the magic, mystique and majesty of our costumed models as you’re guided through the joys of life-drawing. You’ll learn the basics of figure drawing, costuming and rendering shape with light in this dynamic workshop.

In the meantime, make sure to head to our Humanitix and grab your ticket to any of our other amazing events before they sell out too!

For the first time in the forty-three year history of the awards, The State Library of Western Australia's coveted WA Premier's Book Awards has included not one but THREE comics in the shortlist for 2025 -- with two of them published by Gestalt!

What's more, you'll find Sarah Winifred Searle signing copies of her BEST FICTION shortlisted A HOME IN HER at our stand at Supanova Comic Con & Gaming Perth on Saturday morning.

You'll also find Scott Wilson and Christopher Wood signing at Supanova Perth this weekend, celebrating the BEST YOUNG ADULT FICTION shortlisted DREAMWALKER #1, the second ongoing title in our Indigiverse series!
