It's been 5 weeks since this boy came into my life, full time.

It's been full on with worry, stress, overload and overwhelming days, to say the least. However there has also been days of connection, communication, love, joy, happiness and fun times, however far and few inbetween, gotta have balance, right!

I do understand and innerstand he is on and in the transition stage of puberty and the dreaded teenager years, are just around the corner, oh boy😟

Second time around being a parent/authority figure and did I ever think I would be in this situation again? No! Yet my ex said to me, he's here for a reason, it's just not been shown to me as of yet.

The waters have been made up of whirlpools, epic tidalwaves, tempest and calm. Our relationship as of today may be strained, however I do do a happy dance with the small wins, we have, between us. This keeps me going when a little bit of decency is show from a traumatized child, it makes my heart sing ♥️.

Positivity always wins and in all ways to overcome the negative thoughts.
