📍 WHERE IT’S AT
Severe Tropical Cyclone Narelle is now a Category 4 system moving southwest at ~19 km/h, currently just off the coast near Exmouth and Onslow.
👉 It is passing close to the North West Cape and beginning to track south, with impacts already unfolding.
🚨 ‼️ OFFICIAL WARNING (BOM – TOP PRIORITY)
⚠️ WARNING ZONE:
From Onslow → Jurien Bay
Including:
Exmouth, Coral Bay, Carnarvon, Denham, Geraldton
Extending inland to Pannawonica, Murchison, Dalwallinu
👉 NO WATCH ZONE — this is already impacting
💨 WHAT THAT MEANS (REAL NUMBERS)
• Sustained winds near centre: 185 km/h
• Wind gusts: up to 260–275 km/h near the core
• VERY DESTRUCTIVE winds already occurring between North West Cape and Onslow
👉 This is a high-end Category 4 system actively impacting the coast
📏 SIZE MATTERS (THIS ONE IS MASSIVE)
This is a large, spreading system — not a tight cyclone.

• Impacts extending hundreds of kilometres

• Conditions already spreading well south
