I firmly believe that fewer dogs would end up in rescue if people made better choices when deciding on what type of dog to share their lives with. I also believe that part of that is choosing a responsible breeder who educates their potential puppy buyers and provides support after the pups go home. This is the basis of my books and articles on my website, Getting to Know Dogs. I also hope to promote good breeders through the directory on the site.
