We call it a "zap" but what’s technically happening is a tiny electrical burn. Just do us all a favor and keep that little industry fact to yourself, we don’t want your clients having a heart attack on the treatment bed! 🤣

But honestly, if you want to drastically lessen the chances of zapping your clients, the handpiece you use matters. Switching from a bipolar to a tripolar handpiece is a total game-changer. I rarely zap anyone now, which means a flawless, stress-free experience for the client. 🙌🏼

It all comes down to how the oscillating electrical current travels from pole to pole. It’s too much science to type out in a caption, so I’ve broken it all down in a free training video for you.

The neck is one of the most delicate areas we treat. Never, EVER use Radio Frequency directly over the thyroid gland (the center of the lower neck). Heating this area can cause severe internal damage and potentially send your client straight to the ER. 😩

RF isn’t something you just “wing.” You’re working with heat, time, and delicate anatomy, one wrong move can mean serious medical emergencies or severe BURNS, not collagen.

That’s why I always teach my 2,000+ body sculpting students to treat RF like an exact science. Know your safe zones, read the heat, and protect your client while still getting those instant, snatched results.

If you can’t HEAR it, it isn’t working. 😩

I see this all the time, clients sitting through “Fat Cavitation” sessions in total silence, wondering why that mummy tummy fold isn’t budging.

If you don’t hear that distinct ringing or buzzing in your ears during your treatment, you aren’t getting a real session. You’re just getting a gel massage. 🤦🏼‍♀️

Ultrasound Cavitation isn’t magic; it’s science. It uses low-frequency sound waves to vibrate and break down fat cell membranes. Because of how those waves travel, the client must hear the ultrasound working.

No sound = No science = Zero results.

Don’t settle for subpar results because of poor training. You deserve to know exactly what’s happening to your body and why it’s (or isn’t) working.

Yes, to your client it does because you will have less chance of zapping them 🙌🏼

By switching from a bipolar to a tripolar I rarely zap anyone. Which is good news for the clients experience 🤣
