This month, we’re heading to the Central West of NSW to meet fifth-generation farmer Louise Crawford, the woman behind Rove Numby | Hosted Walking Weekends.

What began as a simple idea to create something that complemented farm and family life has grown into a premium hosted farm experience on a 6,000-hectare working sheep and cattle property.

With a genuine passion for agriculture, history and the natural environment, Louise is breathing new life into country hospitality; sharing her knowledge, welcoming guests and guiding hikes through the hills and valleys of her own backyard. 🌿🐑

Another issue of Ruralite is about to launch, featuring a new Ruralite In Focus…

This month, we’re hitting the road sharing resilience and grit, and how this month’s Ruralite turned ruin into treasure.

She is a fifth-generation farmer and is the type of woman to give just about anything a go.

With that mentality she decided to restore her farm cottage and develop a business sharing her genuine passion and knowledge of agriculture, history and her natural environment, with farm guests; and guides them on hikes through the hills and valleys of her very own backyard - a stunning NSW sheep and cattle station by the Lachlan River at Reid’s Flat in NSW.

It’s been a busy week back “in the office” after some annual leave.
Now the dust has settled, I’m back on the emails, hitting reply, and ready to launch another edition of Ruralite in the process.
