President Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr. said that if given the chance to have a one-on-one interview with anyone, he would choose his late father, former President Ferdinand Marcos Sr.

In the episode 5 part ll of the BBM Podcast, Marcos Jr. shared that he would like to hear his father’s thoughts on his leadership as president—whether he would be told “very good” or “wrong.”

Marcos Jr. reflected on how much he had learned by observing his father govern the country, but admitted that leading the nation himself is a completely different experience.

“Since I became president, sometimes I hear, in the back of my mind, my father and some of his other political allies… ‘Oh, mahirap ano?’ Parang naririnig ko,” said Marcos Jr.
