What an absolute pleasure it was to have Nat Gibson, Foster Carers Christian & Catherine join us in the Classic Breakfast studio this morning.

Even more exciting (for our Nat at least) was doggy cuddles with Soxy, Westy and foster greyhound Thai!

Thai has been in foster care for 8 weeks now and has truly blossomed into a happy, affectionate boy. Previously, he spent long hours alone and was even medicated for anxiety – but since joining a loving foster home, he’s shown that all he really needed was company, routine, and care. He’s now off medication and thriving!

A little about me...
Hi, I’m Thai! I’m a big softie who loves affection – wrapping myself around your legs for hugs, following you from room to room, and leaning in close for all the pats and scratches I can get. That said, I also enjoy a bit of downtime and will happily chill outside on my bed or snooze while some music plays when you head out.

🚪 I’m fully toilet-trained and will whimper by the door when I need to go outside.
🍖 Treats? Yes please! I take them ever so gently and will win you over with my sweet, soulful eyes.
🚗 Car rides are my jam – I love the breeze in my face and being by your side on the road.
🐾 Walks are a highlight of my day – two short strolls are perfect, and I must sniff every tree and post. My little legs even quiver with delight!
🐶 I’m friendly with other polite dogs, but prefer they don’t get too close in my face. Not a fan of cats, though!
🎾 Toys don’t interest me much – the best thing in the world is simply being with you.
💤 I do have a bit of sleep startle, so a quieter home would be ideal – perhaps with a retired person, couple, someone who works from home, or a family with older kids.

Thai is ready for his forever family. If you’ve got love, time, and a cozy spot for a loyal companion, this beautiful boy will return it all tenfold. 🐾❤️
